Visa Atlas

A free, independent field guide to moving countries. Every figure links to its official government source.

Not legal advice. Visa Atlas is an encyclopedia, not an adviser. The authoritative source is always the government link on each page. For your specific case, consult a regulated professional.

Corrections policy

By Sam Parks · Last reviewed: 30 April 2026

How to flag a correction

Email corrections@visaatlas.org with the page URL, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and the primary-source URL that supports your correction. Reader corrections that point to an authoritative government source are reviewed within 5 working days.

How we publish corrections

  • The corrected claim is updated in-line.
  • A dated Correction note is appended to the page where the change is material.
  • The page's lastReviewed date is refreshed.
  • For factual changes that affected anyone's migration decision (e.g. a wrong threshold, a wrong processing-time band), we additionally note the original (incorrect) wording in the change log so readers can audit the correction.

What we do not change silently

  • We do not edit out errors without leaving a dated note.
  • We do not back-date a correction note.
  • We do not remove pages because of complaints; we correct, rewrite, or annotate.

Editorial responsibility

The named editor responsible for the publication is Sam Parks. Tip-offs about errors, broken primary-source links, or routes we have wrong belong in corrections@visaatlas.org.
