Referral tracking choices

Optional referral tracking connects a visit and a qualifying purchase to VisaAtlas through Awin. No Awin scripts, pixels, widgets or affiliate requests load while you browse our pages. An advertisement’s ordinary link offers a choice before a tracked departure.

Permission is separate for each named retailer. Refusing or withdrawing applies across all our Awin referrals. Closing an advertisement only hides it for the tab visit.

No current referral permission is saved.

We store the decision, named recipients, purpose, notice version and decision/expiry dates, without creating a visitor identifier. Permission and measurement preference last up to 30 days; refusal or withdrawal lasts up to 180 days. If storage is blocked, a decision lasts only for this document.

On a permitted departure, Awin can set referral cookies and send a click identifier to the retailer. Awin and the retailer receive network/browser information. We send only a coarse destination, page family and task reference; we never attach passport nationality, profession, financial details or form answers. Awin’s cookie and data retention vary by technology; see its privacy policy and legal and cookie information. Our 30-day preference is not a promise of a 30-day cookie or attribution window.

Withdrawal stops future affirmative referrals from VisaAtlas and clears our saved permissions and measurement choice. It cannot delete cookies or data held by Awin or retailers. Use their cookie/privacy controls and browser settings; Awin lists global-privacy@awin.com for data-rights requests. Each retailer’s own privacy choices still apply. VisaAtlas permission does not authorise their unrelated marketing.
