How the figures are made

Visa, fee, salary-threshold and policy records are stored as structured content and linked to their sources. A record check date and an editorial page-review date describe different work; neither is refreshed merely because the site is built or deployed. We prefer a relevant primary government source wherever one exists. Our methodology, editorial standards and corrections policy explain the controls and limitations.
