Independent review at Visa Atlas
An editorial source check is not legal review. Visa Atlas only names an independent reviewer on a page after their identity, public professional registration, scope and completed review have been checked for that specific page.
What the labels mean
- Editorially reviewed or checked
- A Visa Atlas editor reviewed the stated material and its cited source on the displayed date. It does not mean a lawyer or regulated adviser reviewed the page.
- Independently reviewed
- Used only when a named professional has completed a page-specific review and readers can verify the professional and scope from the disclosure on that page.
- Automated source check
- A machine check found the source available or found a configured value. It is a maintenance signal, not an editorial review and not proof that every rule on the page is current.
Qualified reviewers
Regulated immigration professionals interested in independent, page-specific review can email corrections@visaatlas.org. Include a public regulator or bar-register profile listing, jurisdiction, practice scope and any conflicts. Do not send client files or personal case information.
