Rule changes note —This Democratic Republic of the Congo packet is deliberately limited to the official DGM homepage and the official eVisa FAQ. The reviewed public source set is strong for eVisa/VAP validity, fees, processing and short-visit use cases, but it does not publish a full public work-permit or residence-card checklist. Confirm employment, residence and extension cases directly with DGM, the eVisa portal or a competent DRC mission before relying on any checklist.

Overview

The official eVisa FAQ explains that the DRC eVisa lets the traveller obtain a VAP, described as a Visa Aeroportuaire, placed in the passport at the point of entry. The validity FAQ says the eVisa gives right to a seven-day single-entry VAP at any DRC point of entry or border, and that the VAP costs USD 90 payable at the border. This page is separated because many users search for the VAP itself, but it is not presented by the official FAQ as a standalone route without the eVisa stage.

ℹ️ Who can apply?

You do not need a job offer or employer to apply for the Airport Visa / VAP after eVisa approval. This route does not lead to permanent residence. Open to qualifying applicants from all countries.
