Family Reunification Residence Permit

Overview

The family reunification residence permit lets family members of a foreign national who holds a Georgian residence permit, and in some cases family members of Georgian citizens, live in Georgia. The sponsoring relationship and means of support are evidenced to the Public Service Development Agency. It is a settlement-capable route, with lawful time held counting toward later permanent-residence eligibility.

Application pathway

1. 01

   Check the route fit

   Confirm the sponsoring family member's status and your qualifying relationship for family reunification.

2. 02

   Build the evidence pack

   Gather relationship documents, the sponsor's status proof, evidence of support, passport and photograph.

3. 03

   Submit through the official channel

   File the application with the Public Service Development Agency and pay the state fee.

4. 04

   After approval

   Renew alongside the sponsor's permit and track eligibility for permanent residence.
