Overview
The Business Visa is granted to foreign nationals who wish to visit India to establish or explore business opportunities, attend meetings, purchase or sell goods, or who are promoters or owners of a company holding majority stakes. It does not permit taking up employment. Holders whose aggregate or continuous stay in a calendar year exceeds 180 days must register with the jurisdictional FRRO/FRO.
