Overview
A Maldives Marriage Visa permits a foreign national married to a Maldivian to remain in the Maldives. If travelling to marry or register the marriage in the Maldives, the foreign national must be sponsored before arrival through a Sponsorship Declaration on IMUGA. After arrival, the couple completes the legal marriage process and applies for the Marriage Visa within the given period; people already in Maldives transfer after marriage registration.
