What is not included
- Salary and COMPASS eligibility are route conditions, not application fees.
- Qualification verification, medical examination, document translation and professional advice are not MOM government fees.
- Employer recruitment, advertising or employment-agent service charges are separate from MOM fees.
Before you pay
- Use the employer/EA application route; the candidate does not submit the ordinary EP application personally.
- Budget SGD 330 for the mandatory application plus issuance before adding any applicable MJV or family passes.
- MOM says online EP applications are processed or updated within 10 business days in most cases; additional-document requests can take longer, and the overseas-sponsor route is listed as within 6 weeks for most cases.
- If family passes are submitted with the EP, MOM warns that their application fees are lost if the EP application is rejected; weigh that timing choice against applying after EP approval.
- Do not treat a commercial agent quote as a government fee; compare its service charge separately.
