Overview

Chad public official sources reviewed for this packet support eVisa entry, exemption checks and extension direction through the official eVisa portal, but do not expose a complete public residence or work-permit corpus. This is lite coverage until deeper official residence and employment sources are verified. The official eVisa Chad platform says it lets any foreign national who is not visa-exempt and wants to visit the Republic of Chad submit an eVisa application online. Its May 2026 notice says, under Decree No. 2299/PR/PM/MSPI/2025 and Joint Order No. 033/PR/PM/MFBEPCI/MSPI/2026, all visa applications are now made exclusively online through evisa.td, except diplomatic and courtesy visas handled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It also says new visa applications must be submitted online from 11 May 2026 and visas issued outside the platform after 21 May 2026 will not allow entry.

ℹ️ Who can apply?

You do not need a job offer or employer to apply for the Entry eVisa. This route does not lead to permanent residence. Open to qualifying applicants from all countries.
