Overview
The Iraq Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa page distinguishes tourist visas and visit visas. It says a tourist visa lets the holder enter Iraq once during the three months from the date of grant and stay for one month for tourist and relic-site visits. It also says visit visas cover religious events or visits to holy sites, and that public or political figures, business people, investors and people whose visit is considered in Iraq interests may be granted a 30-day visa under the cited consular instructions. For tourist groups, MOFA says applications are offered through tourism companies in the mission area in coordination with an officially licensed tourism company in Iraq.
