Normal Visa

Overview

The Iraq Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa page says the normal visa allows the holder to enter Iraq once during the three months from the date of grant and reside in Iraq for a period not exceeding three months. It also says the holder must visit the Directorate of Residence to report arrival within ten days after entering Iraqi territory. This route is broader than the tourist eVisa and should be used only where the Iraqi mission or competent authority confirms that the applicant purpose fits the normal visa category rather than tourism, transit, work, diplomatic/service or multi-entry routing.

   Prepare the MOFA general visa-request evidence pack.

3. 03

   Submit through the official channel

   File through the mission and keep the grant details.

   After approval

   After arrival, visit the Directorate of Residence within ten days to report entry where required.
