Overview
Family reunification lets the spouse and minor children, and in some cases other dependent relatives, of a foreign national holding a qualifying Latvian residence permit - or of a Latvian citizen or non-citizen - join them. The PMLP assesses the relationship, the sponsor's status, accommodation and means of support. It is a settlement-capable route, and as Latvia is an EU member, lawful time counts toward EU long-term residence alongside the sponsor.
