Temporary Residence for Study (Moldova)

Overview

The study residence permit is for foreign nationals who hold a study contract with an accredited educational institution in Moldova. You evidence your enrolment along with the usual identity, accommodation, health and means-of-support documents, and apply to the General Inspectorate for Migration, renewing for the duration of your studies. It is not a direct settlement route, and study time usually counts only in part toward permanent residence, but many graduates move on to a work or other permit afterwards.
