Overview

The Zambia Department of Immigration explains that a visa is an endorsement on a valid foreign passport, confirmed by an immigration officer at the port of entry, granting authority to enter Zambia. The validity of the visa is the period within which the holder must enter Zambia, not the period the holder may remain in the country. Zambia lists visa-exempt nationals, nationals who may obtain visas on arrival or from missions, and nationals who must apply before travel through the Director General of Immigration and receive approval before travelling. The Department also states that anyone, regardless of nationality, can apply for an eVisa to Zambia.

ℹ️ Who can apply?

You do not need a job offer or employer to apply for the Visitor Visa or eVisa. This route does not lead to permanent residence. Open to qualifying applicants from all countries.
