Not legal advice
Global Visa Routes publishes neutral, sourced information about immigration routes. Nothing on this site is legal advice, a solicitation to provide legal advice, or a substitute for advice from a regulated immigration advisor authorised in your destination jurisdiction.
Rules change
Immigration rules change frequently. Salary thresholds, fee schedules, and eligibility criteria can be updated by statements of changes, ministerial directives, or court decisions. Always verify the current rule on the primary government source linked on the page before making a decision.
Your individual case
Immigration decisions depend on your nationality, occupation, family situation, prior history, and the route you choose. A regulated advisor can evaluate these against the current rules. We list regulators for each destination on the advisors page.
Regulators
In the UK, immigration advice is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA, formerly OISC). In Canada, by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). In Australia, by the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA). In the US, by state bar associations and the EOIR Recognition and Accreditation Program. Always check that your adviser is listed on the relevant regulator register.
