There is no honest universal moving price. Build a quote-backed budget around your route, household, origin, address and risk of delay.

Calculate your moving cash requirement
Use household quotes and your own budget, all in one currency. Nothing is uploaded or saved. This is a cash-planning calculation, not a visa eligibility or tax assessment.
Separate costs by when they become irreversible
Before approval, include official documents, certificates, apostilles, sworn translation, insurance and application travel. After approval, add transport, temporary accommodation, shipping or excess baggage. At housing signature, add lawful deposit, agreed guarantees, first rent and inventory costs.
Keep professional advice, pet travel, school records and vehicle work as conditional lines. Never insert a guessed fee: link each amount to an official fee table, provider quote or contract and give it an expiry date.
Budget cash flow as well as total
A refundable deposit still consumes cash. Put payment date, currency, refund condition and payment method beside every item. Keep a separate buffer for delayed residence cards, longer temporary housing, duplicate insurance or a second document appointment.
Do not fund the move with money needed to prove immigration resources. Confirm whether the route expects funds to remain available and keep a clean source-of-funds trail for Spanish banking.
Control the expensive failure points
Use cancellable lodging until permission is secure. Verify landlord authority before housing transfers. Get written shipping scope and customs responsibility. Confirm airline animal requirements before paying a specialist. Keep copies of every receipt and exchange-rate conversion.
Update the budget at route approval, lease signature and day 30. Replace estimates with actuals and preserve the contingency until the TIE, housing, healthcare and income systems are working.
