Overview

Benin operates an official eVisa platform for entry visas. The public eVisa FAQ and how-it-works pages give the main applicant flow, validity choices, fee table, timing guidance, refund/modification caveats, African 90-day visa-free rule and extension referral to the immigration directorate. Public work and residence procedure pages were not sufficiently verifiable in this pass, so this packet is intentionally lite entry-visa coverage. The official FAQ says any foreigner wishing to visit Benin can submit an eVisa application online, while African nationals may visit Benin without a visa for 90 days. It says the validity start date is the entry date entered in the online travel-data section and that available eVisa validity choices include 30 days and 90 days. The official fee article lists the self-service 30-day single-entry eVisa at EUR 50, with a higher embassy-assisted price.

ℹ️ Who can apply?

You do not need a job offer or employer to apply for the eVisa - 30 day single entry. This route does not lead to permanent residence. Open to qualifying applicants from all countries.
