Overview

Benin operates an official eVisa platform for entry visas. The public eVisa FAQ and how-it-works pages give the main applicant flow, validity choices, fee table, timing guidance, refund/modification caveats, African 90-day visa-free rule and extension referral to the immigration directorate. Public work and residence procedure pages were not sufficiently verifiable in this pass, so this packet is intentionally lite entry-visa coverage. The official FAQ says the eVisa validity is the duration selected in the application and gives 30 days or 90 days as the available validity lengths. It also says travellers whose eVisa expires during their stay should contact the Direction de l'Emigration et de l'Immigration for extension. The fee article lists the 90-day multiple-entry eVisa as the longest published eVisa product in the reviewed source set.

ℹ️ Who can apply?

You do not need a job offer or employer to apply for the eVisa - 90 day multiple entry. This route does not lead to permanent residence. Open to qualifying applicants from all countries.
