Grenada Work Permit

Overview

A work permit is the ordinary route for a non-national to take up paid employment in Grenada, administered by the Ministry of Labour, and it is entirely separate from the citizenship-by-investment programme. The government issues a single type of work permit, generally valid for 12 months and renewable, and it is tied to a specific employer and role. Application pathway

1. 01

   Check the route fit

   Confirm you have a genuine job offer and that the work-permit route applies on the official Ministry of Labour page.

2. 02

   Build the evidence pack

   Assemble the employment contract, your passport, qualifications and police clearance.

3. 03

   Submit through the official channel

   The application is submitted to the Ministry of Labour before employment begins.

4. 04

   After approval

   Begin work once the permit is granted, and renew before its 12-month term expires.
