Overview
The Iraq Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa page lists two transit categories. A transit visa allows the holder to enter Iraq once during three months from the date of grant and stay for no more than seven days. A non-stop transit visa allows transit through Iraqi territory under supervision of the competent authorities without stopping, one time within three months from grant. This route is for transit only; travellers planning tourism, religious visits, work, residence or a longer stay should use the appropriate non-transit visa category.
