Overview

Government of Jersey says residential and employment status determines where a person can work and live, and the status is shown on the registration card. The four categories are Entitled, Licensed, Licensed Lease Only, Entitled for Work and Registered, with different housing and work rights; Registered status generally requires employer permission to employ the person.
