Overview
The study residence permit is for foreign nationals admitted to an accredited educational institution in Montenegro. You evidence your enrolment along with the usual identity, accommodation, health-insurance and means-of-support documents, and apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, renewing for the duration of your course. It is not a direct settlement route, and study time usually counts only in part toward permanent residence, but many graduates move on to a work or business permit afterwards.
