Overview

Panama grants employment-based temporary residence to foreign nationals hired by a Panamanian employer. The route is tied to the employer and usually paired with a work (labour) permit issued by the Ministerio de Trabajo y Desarrollo Laboral (MITRADEL), within the percentage quotas Panamanian labour law sets for foreign staff.
