Overview
ICA says individuals, including some residents, are required to apply for an Employment Visa if they intend to engage in paid employment in Papua New Guinea. ICA says employers will now apply for a work permit together with the visa application through the ICSA online Sponsor Portal or at the ICSA office. The published application list includes company incorporation/IPA documents where applicable, maintenance guarantee bond, organisation structure, qualifications and CV, job description, passport bio page, signed employment contract, recent photo, police clearance, completed New Work Permit Application Form 1, medical examination report, professional registration where applicable, and a PNG-based sponsor letter.
