Overview

The Seychelles Dependant's Permit is the main family route for a Seychelles citizen to bring a foreign spouse or minor child to live with them. The official FAQ says the Seychelles citizen may apply for a spouse and minor children who are not Seychelles citizens and will reside with the citizen in Seychelles. It does not grant work rights: if the dependant wants to work, a Gainful Occupation Permit must be applied for. The permit can cease to be valid if the holder fails to enter within twelve months, is absent for more than twelve months, breaches conditions, is convicted of an immigration offence or is deported.

ℹ️ Who can apply?

You need an approved sponsor in Republic of Seychelles before applying. This route does not lead to permanent residence. Open to qualifying applicants from all countries.
