Spouse Residence Permit

Overview

The Department lists Spouse Residence Permit requirements including completed residence permit application form I.F.S, close relative guarantee form completed by the local spouse, application letter from the foreign spouse and support letter from the local spouse, passport bio-data page, certified photos, accommodation and residential status of guarantor, guarantor funds evidence, marriage certificate, children birth certificates or passports where applicable, police clearance not older than 6 months, statutory fee and radiological certificate. Application pathway

1. 01

   Check the route fit

   Confirm the spouse residence basis and whether the case is initial, extension or permanent.

2. 02

   Build the evidence pack

   Have the local spouse prepare the guarantee and support documents.

3. 03

   Submit through the official channel

   Collect marriage, accommodation, funds, police and radiological evidence.

4. 04

   After approval

   Submit through the Department permit route and track extension or permanent residence timing separately.
