Republic of Estonia
EU movers obtain residence rights through Population Register registration; third-country nationals need a visa, short-term-employment registration or residence permit that fits the activity. Make the home address usable, then connect the personal code, ID document, payroll and healthcare records.
Before travel
Match each mover to EU free movement, employment, startup, nomad or family status.
On arrival
Register an EU mover’s address within three months, or the residence-permit holder’s address within the applicable one-month window.
First month
Check Tervisekassa insurance status and submit a family-physician application for each person.
Later
Update the Population Register within 14 days after moving permanently to another Estonian address.
Hungary
Hungary uses separate immigration, accommodation, tax and health identifiers. Choose a permit that actually allows the planned work and family pattern, then sequence Enter Hungary reporting, document delivery, payroll and TAJ administration around a usable address.
Before travel
Choose a permit that allows the exact employer, remote activity and family pattern.
On arrival
Register accommodation through Enter Hungary and save the certificate.
First month
Agree whether you or the employer files T34 and obtain the tax identification code.
Later
Report any accommodation change within three days and retain the new certificate.
