Republic of Estonia
EU movers obtain residence rights through Population Register registration; third-country nationals need a visa, short-term-employment registration or residence permit that fits the activity. Make the home address usable, then connect the personal code, ID document, payroll and healthcare records.
Before travel

On arrival
Register an EU mover’s address within three months, or the residence-permit holder’s address within the applicable one-month window.
First month

Republic of Serbia
Serbia now handles covered employment and self-employment through an electronic single-permit process. An employment-based D visa can itself authorise work on arrival; otherwise wait for the single permit or residence-card work notation. Register accommodation within 24 hours and keep the stay and work bases aligned.

Confirm whether the passport needs a visa and whether a matching D visa is required.
On arrival
Have the accommodation provider or host register the stay within 24 hours.

Verify public-health registration or maintain adequate private cover for each person.
