Overview
The single permit is Serbia's unified residence-and-work permit, introduced by the Law on Foreigners amendments effective February 2024. It combines temporary residence and work authorisation into one biometric document and is applied for electronically via the Foreign Nationals' portal. Temporary residence can now run for up to three years, and time held counts toward permanent residence after three continuous years.
