Mauritius uses different residence and work permissions. An Occupation Permit can combine work and residence for defined categories, while employment generally requires both residence and work approval; a visitor or business entry is not a work route.

Serbia now handles covered employment and self-employment through an electronic single-permit process. An employment-based D visa can itself authorise work on arrival; otherwise wait for the single permit or residence-card work notation. Register accommodation within 24 hours and keep the stay and work bases aligned.
