Overview

Bolivia migration regulation defines permanencia transitoria por objeto determinado de trabajo for foreign nationals who carry out remunerated or lucrative tasks, with or without an employment relationship, in Bolivian territory, or who perform activities under state or private agreements. It has a validity of up to 180 calendar days. The same regulation lists general evidence classes for object-purpose transitory permanence, including the declaration form, passport or recognised identity document, purpose evidence, health certification where applicable, photo, background evidence where applicable, solvency evidence where applicable and payment proof.

ℹ️ Who can apply?

You do not need a job offer or employer to apply for the Short-Term Work Stay (Permanencia Transitoria). This route does not lead to permanent residence. Open to qualifying applicants from all countries.
