Overview

Bolivia migration law defines permanencia definitiva as the authorisation to reside or remain in the country definitively, granted to foreign nationals who have at least three years of permanence and expressly request it. The law also says definitive permanence is extended to the spouse, dependent children and dependent parents without needing the three-year minimum. The regulation lists requirements including three years of permanence where applicable, the definitive-permanence declaration form, passport, foreign identity card or national identity document, background evidence, documents proving the activity in Bolivia, solvency evidence, photo and payment proof.

ℹ️ Who can apply?
