Overview

The Family or Spouse KITAS is a limited stay permit for foreign nationals joining family in Indonesia, sponsored by an Indonesian citizen spouse or by a foreign relative who already holds a stay permit. It covers spouses and certain dependent family members. The Indonesian sponsor takes legal responsibility for the applicant during their stay. For spouses of Indonesian citizens it can, after qualifying limited stay, lead to a KITAP permanent stay permit.
