Overview

Moldova's Digital Nomad Visa launched on 20 September 2025 for foreign nationals who work remotely for an employer registered outside Moldova, or who are shareholders in such a foreign company. You show income from foreign sources at the required level, set as a multiple of the national average salary and indexed, so we do not quote a figure here. It is not for working the Moldovan labour market or running a Moldovan-registered company. Good to know: this visa does not give access to the Moldova IT Park 7% tax regime - that regime requires a Moldovan IT Park resident company, which nomad-visa holders cannot register, so they are taxed under the ordinary rules instead.
