Overview

ICA says the Visitor Visa is for individuals and groups visiting Papua New Guinea for a holiday or to visit friends and family, including holidays, sightseeing, social or recreational reasons, and visiting relatives and friends. Applicants must show they are genuine tourists or visitors and intend to leave Papua New Guinea at the end of the stay. ICA says that in most circumstances a Visitor Visa is valid for a single-entry stay of 60 days from arrival, and eligible visa-on-arrival nationality holders may apply through the electronic visa portal.

You do not need a job offer or employer to apply for the Visitor Visa. This route does not lead to permanent residence. Open to qualifying applicants from all countries.
