Overview
This is the special permanent-residence procedure under Law 6984/2022 for foreign investors who register through the Sistema Unificado de Apertura y Cierre de Empresas (SUACE). Unlike the standard route, it grants permanent residence directly - investors do not have to pass through temporary residence first - which makes it the fast direct-to-permanent option in Paraguay. You evidence a qualifying investment and economic and financial solvency. The permanent residence card issued must be renewed every 10 years. It is administered by the Direccion Nacional de Migraciones together with SUACE.

Frequently asked questions
How is the SUACE route faster than normal Paraguayan residency?+
The SUACE investor procedure grants permanent residence directly, so qualifying investors do not first pass through temporary residence the way most other applicants now do under Law 6984/2022. Confirm the current requirements and minimum investment on the official Migraciones / SUACE page.
How much do I need to invest for the SUACE route?+
You must make a qualifying investment at or above the minimum set in regulation and show economic and financial solvency. Because the figure is set by regulation, confirm the current minimum investment on the official Migraciones / SUACE page.
