Frequently asked questions

Can ONE Pass holders work for multiple employers?+−

Yes. Unlike the EP, the ONE Pass is not tied to a single employer. Holders can work for multiple companies, start their own businesses, or combine employment and self-employment simultaneously. This is one of its main advantages over the EP.

What is the salary requirement for the ONE Pass?+−

You must have earned or will earn a fixed monthly salary of at least SGD 30,000 (approximately USD 22,000). Overseas salary in the preceding 12 months can qualify. For the outstanding-achievement and senior-leadership pathways, the salary threshold does not apply but separate criteria do.

Does the ONE Pass lead to Permanent Residence?+−

The ONE Pass itself is temporary (5 years, renewable), but holders can apply for PR through ICA. The high salary and seniority profile of ONE Pass holders tends to be favourably assessed for PR, though there is no guaranteed conversion.
