Overview

Spain's investor residence permit (Law 14/2013, Article 63) historically granted residence in exchange for €500,000+ property investment, €2m in Spanish public debt, €1m in Spanish shares/funds, or a significant business project. The government enacted legislation ending the property-investment route from 3 April 2025.
