Overview

The State Migration Service explains that immigration permits are granted within Cabinet-established immigration quotas for groups such as science and culture workers, highly skilled specialists, investors contributing at least USD 100,000, certain Ukrainian-citizen relatives, former citizens, family members of immigrants, human-trafficking victims and long-serving Armed Forces members. The same page lists non-quota bases including spouses married to Ukrainian citizens for more than two years, children and parents of Ukrainian citizens, guardians, people with citizenship-by-origin rights, national-interest cases and foreign Ukrainians with qualifying family members.

  5. 5. Keep the ongoing conditions visible. Record the actual expiry, renewal process, permitted absences and any duty to report changes. An initial grant does not automatically establish permanent residence or citizenship.
