Overview
Native citizens of MERCOSUR member and associated states, and certain long-naturalised nationals of those states, may obtain temporary residence on the basis of their nationality under Migration Law 25.871. It is one of the most widely used routes for South American nationals and can lead to permanent residence. Refer to the official DNM page for current requirements.
