Overview
This is Peru's resident family member category (Familiar Residente), for foreign nationals who form part of the family unit of a Peruvian national or of a foreign national who already holds a resident category. It covers relationships such as spouse or partner, children and other qualifying relatives as defined under Legislative Decree 1350. It is granted by the Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones, usually by changing your migration category online through the agencia digital. The stay is commonly granted for 365 days and is renewable while the family relationship continues, and the time can count toward permanent residence.
