Overview
Suriname government travel guidance says the unilateral visa abolition introduced from 1 July 2022 lets nationals of covered countries travel visa-free to Suriname for tourism or family visits for a maximum stay of 90 days. The same page says the entry fee must be paid for admission to Surinamese territory, with a tariff of US$50 or EUR 50 plus an online service fee, and it lists exemptions including holders of a valid visa, valid PSA document or PSA card, a valid Suriname residence permit or indefinite stay, CARICOM passports and certain official travel documents. The government page also lists countries excluded from the visa-abolition measure, so travellers should check nationality fit before relying on this route.
