Overview
A Zambia Residence Permit confers permanent residence. The Department lists qualifying bases including holding an Employment Permit continuously for more than 10 years, being a dependant aged 21 or below of a Residence Permit holder or established resident, holding an Investor's Permit for more than 3 years, holding a Spouse Permit for at least 5 years, being born from a citizen, being a foreign-origin dependant under the care of a citizen, intending to retire in Zambia with proof of sufficient funds, and holding an Entry Permit with reasonable and justifiable grounds for delayed change.
