In Bahrain, residence is handled by Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) at the Ministry of Interior, while work permits are regulated by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA). The headline routes are the LMRA employer work permit, self-sponsorship arrangements, and the multi-tier Golden Residency for property owners, retirees, talented individuals and long-term residents.
