Authority Distribution Plan 2026

Auditable launch and distribution control plane for turning Visa Atlas open data, MCP tools, widgets and original research into off-site citations, links, dataset entities and AI retriever entry points.

This is a launch-readiness and evidence-control dataset, not evidence of completed third-party publication. Private evidence stays local until a separate review approves what can be published.

Distribution channels

  • agent-directory - high priority

    Official MCP registry listing

Competitors publish pages and calculators; a listed read-only MCP endpoint makes Visa Atlas installable as a source-linked dependency inside agent workflows.

    Public entry points

    • /mcp
    • /ai-agents
    • /api/openapi.json

    Success signals

    • approved registry listing
    • MCP tool-call volume in server logs
    • AI-agent referral or citation evidence

    Action checklist

    • Verify the publisher namespace for visaatlas.org or use the approved GitHub namespace.
    • Submit the remote streamable HTTP endpoint at https://visaatlas.org/mcp with no-auth read-only positioning.

    Launch copy assets

    • Verified immigration data as read-only agent tools.
    • Government fees, salary thresholds, processing times and policy changes with source URLs and verification dates.

Evidence policy

Account credentials, unpublished listing URLs, private contact details, screenshots, rejection notes, analytics exports and unreviewed launch outcomes stay local until separately approved for publication.

Manual distribution must preserve canonical Visa Atlas URLs, CC BY 4.0 attribution and government source URLs. Private evidence stays local unless it has an approved publication row.

Local evidence rollup workflow

Approved distribution outcomes can be summarised locally from a JSONL evidence log with the command below. The report emits approved public URLs and quality rates only; rejected submissions, account credentials, contact details, screenshots, private notes and unreviewed outcomes must not be committed.

npm run seo:authority-distribution -- authority-distribution-log.jsonl --json

Methodology and limits

Rows are compiled from the July 2026 growth strategy, launch kit, publisher citation kits, external repository mirror manifest, knowledge-graph governance and visibility measurement contract. The feed is a launch control plane, not evidence of completed third-party publication.

  • This plan proves readiness and evidence requirements, not that a third-party platform has accepted, indexed, cited or ranked the asset.
  • Manual distribution must preserve canonical Visa Atlas URLs, CC BY 4.0 attribution and government source URLs where factual figures are reused.
  • Outreach and community posts must avoid bought links, link exchanges, undisclosed affiliation and duplicated promotional text.
  • Passing these checks does not guarantee backlinks, rankings, traffic, citations, market share or the 500k/month planning target.
