Physiotherapy is a regulated profession with destination-specific registration — HCPC in the UK, the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) for Canada, AHPRA for Australia, FSBPT NPTE-licensure for the US, and the Physiotherapeut Approbation in Germany. Physios feature on most shortage occupation lists, often paired with sponsor-licensed health-system employers.
